Meet Peter Humer

Transformation Artist, Certified Top Coach™

When you meet Peter Humer, the first thing you notice is his presence—a unique mix of calm authority, curiosity, and unshakable conviction that transformation is always possible. But don’t let his serenity fool you; beneath the surface, Peter is a force of nature, channeling decades of experience in personal growth, leadership, and transformation into every client he serves.

Peter’s story is anything but ordinary. A football recruit at Carnegie Mellon, Peter didn’t just tackle opponents on the field—he tackled the nation’s most rigorous drama program, becoming the only football player in their renowned musical theater program. (Who else can say they’ve brought down the house on stage and the field?) From there, he embarked on a whirlwind career spanning professional acting, a European theater tour, and TV appearances. And then? He flipped the script.

From opening the first hot yoga studio in Harvard Square to helping CEOs and leaders “read the tea leaves” of their organizations, Peter has always pursued transformation on every level. Whether teaching hot yoga, leading personal training sessions, or managing complex sales teams, Peter found one constant thread: transformation happens from the inside out. It’s the same insight that fuels his work as a Certified Top Coach today.

For Peter, coaching isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level hacks. It’s about alignment—internal, external, and everything in between. “You can’t set an intentional structure in place if you’re not solid inwardly,” he often says. “Internal misalignment will always manifest outwardly over time—whether it’s unresolved trauma, self-limiting beliefs, or unchecked frustration.” This mindset is woven into his coaching approach: practical, results-driven, and rooted in self-awareness.

A Man of Many Hats (and Helmets)

Peter’s journey hasn’t been linear, and that’s what makes him the guide every leader needs. He’s been a Bikram yoga studio owner, a personal trainer, a fitness manager, and even a General Manager. These roles shaped his deep understanding of energy management—not just time management. “You’ve only got 100% of your day,” he explains, “but if your energy’s shot, that 100% doesn’t get you far.”

Married since 2005 and a proud father of three, Peter considers his family his greatest accomplishment—and his children his toughest (and most rewarding) audience. Whether it’s hiking, sweating it out in the sauna, or singing at the beach, Peter’s joy is found in balance and connection. His pet peeve? Corruption. His least favorite food? Gum—he calls it “senseless jaw exercise.” And don’t get him started on selfishness or ignorance.

Transformation, One Practice at a Time

Peter brings a no-nonsense philosophy to his coaching: you only get good at what you practice. He draws parallels between habits and outcomes, whether it’s the physical toll of sugary cereal every morning or the professional cost of skipping self-awareness. “Internal change leads to external change,” he says. “It’s not always glamorous, but the work always pays off.”

As a Certified Top Coach, Peter’s mission is to help leaders uncover their blind spots, overcome misalignment, and unlock their full potential. Whether you’re a CEO stuck in your own way or a team struggling to execute, Peter will help you “go in” so you can finally “go out.”

If you’re ready to get serious about transformation—on the field, in the office, or in life—Peter’s your guy. Just don’t bring gum to the meeting.
